Spring Cleaning Your Vision

How much easier would it be for you to focus on your target if all the clutter were cleared away? 

If deadlines and stress, piles of paperwork and to-do lists magically disappeared. Imagine if you could devote all of your time to the pursuit of one major goal. And once that was achieved, all your time, energy and resources could be focused on the next major goal...and so on. You would be so much more productive and we all would be achieving our goals at a more predictable pace.

Well reality usually sets in and we realize that we do still have deadlines and stress, piles of paperwork and to-do lists, and our family and career obligations, plus our social endeavors. But what if we could free up some time - even if it's just 15, 30 or 45 minutes a day? What could you accomplish with those accumulated minutes over the course of a week, a month, a quarter or the next year? The simple answer...a lot!

So I'm going to suggest that you do a little Spring Cleaning - for your VISION....

Great Legs

Finally!  Spring is coming.  Time to bring out the Capri pants and shorts in preparation for summer.  If you’ve been exercising all winter long, go ahead and reward yourself with a pedicure, some sandals and your best pair of shorts and go out with your friends. 

If you feel like you’ve got a bit more work to do before getting into your favorite shorts, don’t despair – you’ve still got time.  Memorial Day Weekend is about 7 weeks away, and that means with the right workout, you’ve got time to safely and easily lose about 7 – 11 pounds before then. 

Here’s my “Great Legs” routine that is sure to give you the results you desire:

A Happy, Healthy New Year!

Happy New Year!  I hope that all of your holiday wishes came true.  Hopefully you spent some time with your loved ones making new memories.  I know I did.  My husband and I took our children to New York and spent a week with my family for Christmas.  We took the train into the city, saw the tree, stopped to eat, went ice skating in Central Park, ate again, exchanged lots of presents and ate some more.  We talked, and laughed and reminisced.  We told stories and played games.  Everyone had such a wonderful time that I have to place one special item on the top of this year’s list of New Year’s Resolutions.

Anger: When I Try To Name The One Thing, All The Other Things Line Up Behind It

 

Maybe I’m old fashioned, but it makes me angry when people don’t mean what they say. It makes me angry when people think I should be okay with broken promises and unkept commitments. I am not. I will not be. And I will not apologize for my “high standards.” Without integrity, there is no basis for communication, let alone accountability and responsibility.

It makes me angry that people think “obligation” is a dirty word everyone should be free from. An entire industry called “self help” profits from people’s fear of accountability. Here’s all the self-help you need: take responsibility for your shit, mean what you say and follow through.
